…I want people to get involved in the community and give back. There are countless ways to contribute. My advice is to make community service a part of life. Time commitments can seem daunting, but even small efforts, like one hour a week with the Lions Club, can make a big difference. The fabric and culture of this township rely on volunteers. Being respectful and a responsible citizen includes voting, getting involved in your township, and supporting local institutions.

For me, what sums up who I am as a person is God, family, friends, and health. People have a lot of choices, even if they don’t always see them. One of those choices is what foods you are eating, what you are consuming, and what you are taking into yourself. These choices not only make you a person who can give back, but they also help build yourself up. How much you exercise and what you do to build yourself up refills your well so that you can provide for other people.

I lived here (in Cranbury, NJ) for about a year when I was around thirteen years old, but grew up in Hightstown so it was close by. It’s more diverse now than it was back then. While it still has the farmer’s community, back then it really was just the farmer’s community….
